We had a huge amount of rain come down our street on a really blustery day. Our street in the Kirkland Highlands ends in a cul-de-sac where the water was collecting by a clogged storm drain. The drain was filled with leaves.
November is the beginning of the critical season to keep the drains clear of debris because of falling leaves. Kirkland needs neighborhood volunteers to keep the storm drains clear and streets from flooding. Can you volunteer, adopt a storm drain and keep your street from flooding?
