Thanks, Joe.

Good luck with your new newspaper. I look forward to seeing it when it comes out. Is it online or will there be a print version?

Small businesses are having some real difficulty lately. I hate to seem them go. If all we have are big box stores and shiny, bright malls, we lose our individuality as a community. There becomes less of a reason to live in a particular place. I am not against change, I like to see a balance between the old and the new.

Good post Debra - thank you for helping Parkplace.

That was really gutsy of them to send out that letter. I have felt like doing something similar many times in the last few years since I started Eastside Business newspaper.

The newspaper business is hurting much like the book business, but what did I do instead of asking for help? I decided to start still another newspaper - Eastside Life. First issue will be out May 1st.
